Our Mission—

Every Purchase Makes a Difference

The sale of Daniel’s Coffee goes to support students who have a passion for cooking, baking and culinary artistry.

Our family created The Daniel Dragonetti Scholarship for Culinary Arts in 2014 to help students in need.

To date, we have been able to fund six scholarships and proudly watched six students graduate and find work.

Our goal is for the scholarship to be funded in perpetuity.

Your purchase of coffee helps a student to achieve their goals.

Daniel’s medium roast is a blend of organic coffee beans from Kenya, Brazil and Vietnam. I carefully adjust the ratio of beans, so it is smooth, deep, rich and memorable. Roasting temperature and roasting time is carefully monitored. I do not want the beans burned or under roasted. I modeled this flavor profile after visiting my grandparents commune in Potenza, Italy and sampling the local espresso.

I was never the same.

The Natural Decaffeination Process extracts the caffeine from the beans using steam and a naturally occurring compound found in sugar cane and citrus fruits called ethyl acetate.

The beans are steamed and then rinsed in the compound for up to 10 hours, before being steamed again for an additional 10 hours to remove residual caffeine and solvent. The result is a creamy cup of mellow, decaffeinated coffee that has quickly become our best-selling decaf. We roast it to Light Medium, and you will note the slight walnut and cocoa within the light body.
